News & Announcements
On Monday 17th December, the Primary Four classes went to Mount Stewart. Here they travelled back in time to the 1950’s and saw a glimpse of how Christmas was celebrated back then. The children were able to make decorations and Christmas cards, Nanny Crowe showed us how Lady Rose and Elizabeth spend Christmas Eve and had a look at some of their toys. Mrs Cranberry showed us how to make a Christmas cake and the adults even got ‘hands on’ by making a Pomander. Finally, Mrs Tick added to the festivities by leading us in a carol service around the Christmas tree. A very enjoyable trip for us all to get us in the festive spirit. A special word of thanks to our parent helpers Mrs Mornin and Mrs Moohan for joining us on the day.
